Kepa starts vs Fulham
The big story surrounding Chelsea FC in recent weeks has been the Kepa/Maurizio Sarri saga.
Sarri wanted to take Kepa off in the League Cup final when he looked injured but the Spaniard refused and finished the game.
Afterwards, Kepa was punished by firstly being fined a week’s wages and then by being dropped vs Tottenham.
Kepa would, however, find himself back in between the sticks on Sunday as Chelsea took on Fulham.
Chelsea took a 1-0 lead through Gonzalo Higuain vs Fulham before Calum Chambers equalised shortly after.
However, Jorginho would secure Chelsea the three points with a superb finish in the 30th minute.

Sarri on Kepa’s attitude
As for Kepa, he put on an excellent display and made a number of big saves to keep the score at 2-1.
Sarri has since spoken about Kepa and praised the young keeper for his positive response to being dropped vs Spurs:
“Kepa made a big mistake and he paid with the club and the team. Now the situation is closed. There was another way to put him out of the squad for the season, but Kepa is a man, understood and reacted well.
“I can kill him but I think this was right. I spoke with him during the week, he understood.
“His attitude during the week was good. His reaction today was very good.
“I know him well, he is very clever with a good mentality, he made a mistake and understands.”As quoted by the Metro.
Chelsea’s next game sees them take on Dynamo Kyiv on Thursday in the Europa League.
Kepa has missed two Europa Leauge games already this season so he could be benched onThursdayy.
However, he is likely to start on Sunday in Chelsea’s next league outing vs Wolves.
