Kevin De Bruyne predicts who he thinks will win Euro 2020


Who will come out on top at Euro 2020?

Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has predicted which nation he thinks will come out on top at the European Championship in 2020.

After the World Cup in Russia, quite a few fans have the excitement of international football back.

The summer competition was up there with some of the most entertaining editions recently and now many are looking forward to 2020 and the Euros.

One nation that has a lot of hype surrounding it going into the competition is England.

Following an incredibly impressive showing at the World Cup, England went up to fourth in the FIFA world rankings.

That will see them go into Euro 2020 as one of the favourites.

Now, Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne is backing them too.

“I think they are favourites, with France”

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, De Bruyne explained that Gareth Southgate’s men will go into the competition as joint-favourites with France.

He even told his Manchester City colleagues that they should win the competition!

“I told the England guys a week ago that you should win the Euros. I think they are favourites, with France,” explained De Bruyne.

“I see the guys already established, and those coming up, so the future looks really good.

“Will they win it? I don’t know, because only one team can win it but you have a chance to do well in the next ten years.”

Everyone heard what Neil Warnock said to Kevin De Bruyne after Man City 2 – Cardiff 0

While De Bruyne has been speaking about England’s chances, any side with him in is always dangerous!

The Belgian impressed against Cardiff on Wednesday evening, scoring his sides first goal.

Though, it was what Neil Warnock said to him after the game which had people on social media talking.
